BIOGRAPHY Nancy Gutkin O'Neil was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her B.A. in 1970 from Sarah Lawrence College where she focused on studio art. O'Neil and her husband/partner, James O'Neil, moved to rural Maine in 1970. She has raised a family and maintained a glass studio there for close to thirty years, and now spends part of the year living and working in New Orleans, Louisiana.
